I have an old TV from 2010 that is not a smart TV. For the past 4 years, I'd been using a Roku stick. Unfortunately, that stick had been giving me lots of problems with buffering and crashing.I am so glad I ditched Roku and bought this Fire Stick. While the buttons on the remote are not as intuitive as a Roku, it more than makes up for it with the beautiful user interface when you are watching TV.I love how the interface lays out all my streaming apps in a row across the screen. It is a huge improvement over the Roku interface. And while I cannot confirm this, it seems that the HD picture quality is much better than what Roku gave me. When I stream any TV program, the HD picture is incredibly clear, and it's this detail that I notice all the time.Go ahead and purchase this product if you do not have a smart TV. Great buy!
